Our floor system provides an easy-to-install insulated subfloor and durable marine-grade top flooring. This includes:
- 3 resin-impregnated OSB panels with polyiso foam (R6) precisely routed to fit inside of floor ribs exactly
- Lonseal flooring (chosen by client) flooring precisely cut to exact subfloor shape
- Floor Trim Set: Powder coated (grippy) 14 gauge steel trim pieces for all edges of the floor
- All necessary installation hardware
Installation Notes
Our flooring should be glued down to the clean steel surface of the van's floor. We can provide the appropriate glue at an additional cost, depending on which option you'd like to use. Self tapping screws can also be used to aid in keeping panel seems tight to one another. Both top flooring choices can also be spray glued/epoxied/taped into place.
- Floor Shape: The trim pieces are designed to fit our subfloor kit, so check out that page to see the general design of our subfloor, particularly in the step well area - we extend the subfloor out into the step well area by about 8" over the factory width.
- Floor Height: The height of your subfloor can vary because of the three-piece step well design. The height of our subfloor is approximately 1.1" above the factory steel highest point (read as: the peaks of the corrugations). Your subfloor can be anywhere from 0.75" to 1.75" high to utilize our trim.
Crew Van Floors
For those who want to use the factory seat rails with our floor system, we have a solution available to cut-out around the second row of factory rails. Please get in contact with us for more information.
Top Flooring Choices
For your flooring, you can choose between Lonseal (standard) or 2Tec2. Both options work phenomenally well in vans, but have slightly different characteristics. Lonseal is the standard option and comes in a few different patterns/colors. 2Tec2 is harder wearing, tends to show less marks from wear over time, but can sometimes hold onto fine desert dust since it is a woven vinyl. You'll have no issue with durability with either of these choices and it usually comes down to aesthetic.
Lonseal
You can choose between the below three options:
- Loncoin II Flecks
- Lonsand (This option adds $220)
-
Lonridge (This option adds $280)
2Tec2
Note: 2Tec2 is an upgraded price because of the higher cost of the material (+$299). We recommend choosing between the below options, as these are in stock with our supplier:
